Once upon a time, in a dense forest, there lived a huge elephant who was very proud of his strength. He often mocked smaller animals, especially a tiny rat who lived near a tree.
One day, the elephant laughed at the rat and said, “You are so small and weak! You are useless.”
The rat felt hurt but calmly replied, “Don’t underestimate me. One day, I may help you.” The elephant ignored him and walked away proudly.
A few days later, the elephant got trapped in a hunter’s net. He struggled a lot but couldn’t break free.
Hearing his cries, the little rat rushed to him. Without wasting time, the rat started gnawing the ropes of the net with his sharp teeth.
After some time, the net broke, and the elephant was free! The elephant felt ashamed and thanked the rat. He realized his mistake and said, “I was wrong. No one is small or useless.”
Moral of the Story: Never underestimate anyone. Even the smallest friend can be the greatest help.
