The Kind Cow 🐄 and the Greedy Man

In a small village, there lived a poor farmer who owned a gentle cow named Gauri. She was not an ordinary cow—she gave fresh, rich milk every day, enough for the farmer and even some to sell. The farmer lived a simple but happy life. He took care of Gauri, fed her well, and spoke to her kindly.

One day, a greedy man from the nearby town heard about this special cow. He visited the farmer and offered a large amount of money to buy Gauri. At first, the farmer refused. But the man kept increasing the price until the farmer became tempted and finally agreed.

The greedy man took Gauri home. But instead of caring for her, he thought, "Why wait every day for milk? Maybe she has a treasure inside!" Driven by greed, he made a terrible decision. He harmed the cow hoping to get all the milk at once. But sadly… there was nothing inside.

He lost the cow, and with it, the daily milk he could have enjoyed forever.

Moral of the Story: Greed can destroy even the good things we already have.
